  • About

The Greenwich Town Party is thrown by the people of Greenwich for those who live and work in our town. We believe that “community” is built by having everyone both contributing together and partying together. Like a block party or a pot luck dinner, the Greenwich Town Party is created by people giving what they care to offer. Some offer volunteer time while others donate money. Contributions of money are made so that free and subsidized tickets can be provided to those that may otherwise not be able to attend– a key objective of the event to bring all people in our town together. More specifically, “Free tickets” and “subsidized tickets” are paid for by those who buy “donor tickets” and by one Greenwich resident who matches all the donations made by others. Together, the event donors subsidize about 90% of the cost of the event so that we can have a really great party that is affordable to everyone and a true celebration of community.
