“24 Hours That Changed the World” Subject of Churchwide Study at Diamond Hill United Methodist Church Beginning March 7th, join the people of Diamond Hill United Methodist Church as they embark on an important and exciting study. No single event in human history has received more attention than the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. In this study, Adam Hamilton guides us through the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life. Each session is designed to help participants experience and understand the significance of Jesus’ suffering and death in a way they may never have before, whether they are long-time Christians or simply curious about the story of Christ’s crucifixion. This special study will run for seven weeks. Walk with Jesus through the 24 hours leading up to the crucifixion. Sit beside him at the Last Supper. Pray with him in Gethsemane. Follow him to the cross. Desert him. Deny him. Experience the Resurrection! Each session will feature videos, Bible study, and discussion. The study, published by Abingdon Press, was developed by Adam Hamilton, pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, and is intended for anyone who is interested in the Christian faith. Participation in the study is free but registration is required. You may register at: bit.ly/24hoursbk or via the church’s website: www.diamondhillumc.com
