Name: Broadway comes to Greenwich at Play With Your Food!
Date: March 14, 2018
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM EDT
Event Description:
Broadway comes to Play With Your Food this month when Alison Cimmet, fresh from her featured roles in Broadway’s Amélie and She Loves Me, teams up with fellow actors Bethany Caputo and Jonas Cohen in an exciting program of one act plays. On March 6,7,8 (Westport’s Toquet Hall), March 13 (Fairfield Theater Company) and March 14 & 15 (Greenwich Art Council), the three will appear in Jack, contemporary playwright Melissa Ross’s bittersweet tale of a couple trying to say goodbye. Jack premiered last summer to rave reviews at the 59east59 Theatre’s Short Play festival. Jack is paired with Being Olga Prozorov, another one act by up-and-coming playwright Jennifer Rau. Watch the sparks fly when an actress, played by Cimmet, doesn’t get the part of the sister she “deserves” to play in Chekhov’s The Three Sisters - she goes directly to the source to find out why! Doors open for lunch at 12 noon followed by the plays at 12:30 pm and a talkback with the professional cast of actors and the Director. A delicious, fresh lunch will be catered by A & S Fine Foods in Westport and A Dash of Salt Caterers in Fairfield and Greenwich. All tickets $47.
