Join the Greenwich Historical Society for our Local Spotlight book talk series, featuring author Kim Hark. Her book features a search for Stamford, Connecticut’s Italian American history began in the archives and continued with dozens of interviews. The emerging story included cultural richness, generosity, and cooperation among the city’s ethnic groups. In this book, Italian American descendants describe Stamford in the 1930s through the 1960s. Their memories of war, romance, work, play, cuisine, and creativity bring history’s echoes to the present.
Books may be purchased at the Museum Store in advance or on the day of the program for signing by the author. Admission to the talk is FREE, but space is limited and registration is recommended.
